Habt ihr mich vermisst, die Tage, Stunden und Minuten gezaehlt?

Naja vermutlich nicht.

Anyway and hola de espaniol. Now I will fill my blog with comments from Spain, or more precise from Basque, Bilbao where I’m since Sunday. Now I’m here in a country where nobody speaks English, but anyhow I don’t speak Spanish either. Not even my boss at Siemens VAI where I’m doing an internship for the next 2 months understands me and I don’t understand him.

The city is great, the weather warm and the girls are …… unbelievable, unfortunately not in a good way.

5 things I miss from Texas:

The Girls. I don’t care if their beauty wasn’t real, just bought, they were hot, at least some of them. But here it’s strange I’m now here since more than 4 days. I use the Metro every day during rush hour. But I haven’t seen one who was worth looking after her!!
The exchange rate
I was able to communicate with almost everyone
A couple of people
Have I already mentioned the exchange rate?

5 things I like in Bilbao

Beer even at Burger King. We have the same probably in Austria too, but after 4 months in the Lone Star state this is quite strange for me.
Downtown, Guggenheim, etc. this part of the city is one of the most beautiful city parts I’ve ever seen
The language, even if my Spanish is really bad, I thing I can recognize that it is getting better day by day. And when I was disappointed in London or in Texas when someone wasn’t able to understand me, or I had troubles getting my point across. Here I feel great every time someone understand anything I say. And someday I will be able to understand what my guest family wants from me when they talk to me. I feel like Knecht Ruprecht from the simpsons when homer talks to him.
Public transport. It’s great, I thing they would even like it in Texas. Someone should sell them some. Ahh I forget the can’t afford it anymore, they spend too much money creating enemies in the Middle East.
They people are friendly, at least I thing so I can’t really understand them, the weather is warm and the company buys the lunch (including a bottle of Vino tinto for each table) maybe that’s the reason why they are so friendly

Cheers, Auf Wiedersehn y hasta luego

some halloween pics

Sharing some new experiences…

Because of a quite busy time I hadn’t the time nor the mood to blog some new statements about the Lone Star State. Anyway, some events crossed my last weeks, like the Austrian

National Holiday

Or Halloween
What should I say about it, maybe it was fun, maybe it’s already over or maybe just nothing.

But maybe you are interested in how Americans celebrate Halloween. Or what is Halloween. Out of my impression Halloween is just a pretense to dress even more slutty as the Texan girls usually do and I have to admit I liked it :->

But who cares about the past. For sure not Texas where a lot of people still believe the dinosaurs swam next to Noah’s Ark but there idiocy is another topic.

Anyway I don’t care about it because tomorrow is Thanks Giving, the event where all the students go home to celebrate it with there families. And if it’s true what the people say home is wherever your heart is, than I can also say I go home.

VIVA LAS VEGAS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tomorrow 3.40pm local time I will land at the Las Vegas int. Airport. Where I will spend a long weekend at the Imperial. Ok Maybe I won’t ever see my room from inside. But who cares when you have a Hofbräuhaus!
Yes I don’t go the Vegas to gamble I’m there for the Hofbräuhaus with directly imported Bier and food from Munich. And if possible I will marry my beer there.
If I will be able to do so, you never will know, because there’s just one rule in Vegas.
Whatever happens in Vegas stays in Vegas! :->
